Synchronised swimming is a fun sport - its like dancing
in the water - synchronised swimmers work very
hard on flexibility, stamina, core and strength
training. It is a team sport and everyone works together
to achieve the best for the club of which we all take
great pride. As the club has been running for 16 years
we have seen our swimmers develop into confident young
adults and many of our older swimmers continue to coach
which it essential to keep the club as strong as it is.
Pudsey Pearls was founded in 1990 by Ian Watson
and has developed from
a small club to one of the best clubs in the North-East.
We pride
ourselves on our friendly atmosphere in which members
can thrive. Pudsey is a voluntary organisation - the
coaches and committee work hard to maintain a strong,
happy and successful club.
Our youngest swimmer is 6 and our oldest is 60. We
welcome all new
swimmers in to our happy family so if you are interested
or know anyone
who is interested in becoming a synchronised swimmer
please contact me, Joelle Carr (chief coach) on (07837
494 102) or just turn up to a training session - the
first one is Free!
