 Coaches

Peter Stubbs, Yr 12 Summer University Leader
Chief Coach: Joelle Carr

I started synchronised swimming when I was 8 and fell in love with the sport. I have been coaching for 10 years and I feel I am constantly learning, being challenged and inspired by the swimmers.

Ian Watson

I have been involved with swimming and lifesaving since I was 14 years old and am qualified to teach lifesaving and train pool lifeguards as well as swimming and synchronised swimming. I was a lifeguard and swimming teacher for over 30 years and was instrumental in starting both the current synchronised swimming groups in Leeds.

Sarah Spears

This is my seventh year of synchro and I still look forward to every session. I am passionate about the sport and focus on constantly improving. I haven't been coaching long but I find it really challenges me and I can pass on all the great advice my coaches gave me.
